Project Details:
- Implementation location: Cu Lao Cham Nature Reserve.
- Funding call: 2,000,000,000 VND (Two billion VND)
- Implementation period: 2026 – 2030.
- Activities:
– Analyze the need for resource management and identify the interests and aspirations of the community, thereby developing co-management solutions;
– Identify management areas and zoning of forest and marine resources through consensus and discussion with the community, while ensuring sustainability and equitable benefit sharing;
– Develop a forest and marine resources management plan based on consensus and cooperation with local communities, while ensuring linkages between resource management and use areas;
– Establish a mechanism to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the forest-marine resource co-management model to ensure the implementation according to the plan and the effectiveness of management activities;
– Build a forest and marine resource management structure based on cooperation and consensus among stakeholders with the participation of 04 parties: scientists, state management, enterprises and the community;
