Project Details: Research and Management of Java Pangolins in Conservation Area: Conservation of Species and Plan for Maintaining Breeding Resources on the Island

Implementation period: 2026 – 2027
Activities:
– Assess the current status, distribution area and population of Java Pangolins on Hon Lao Island.
– Develop an annual patrol and monitoring program to manage and protect the population.
– Raise awareness of the community and stakeholders in wildlife as well as pangolin protection.
